Created during onboarding
Your team is the account-level home for members, billing, permissions, and shared administration. You can invite other members later. Learn about teams.
Get started
Your team contains spaces. Each space organizes related plans and can provide a shared people pool. Within a plan, you create slots and reusable jobs, place jobs in slots, and staff them with people.
Account setup
Create an account with your email address and password. Weeks then asks for your first and last name, team name, and time zone. Choose Next to finish onboarding and reach your dashboard.

Onboarding does not create a space for you. Create one from the dashboard, then use it to organize related plans and, when useful, a shared pool of people. Learn about spaces.
If account setup does not work as described, email support@weeks.app.
After onboarding, use Edit Account Details to update your name, personal time zone, email address, or password.
First pass
The fastest useful path is to create a plan, add the time slots you need to cover, place jobs in those slots, then assign people. Start with what you have.
Planning flow
A plan is the structure you work inside: one department, quarter, event, venue area, sprint, or production window. Name it after the thing people recognize, then open it when you are ready to build the coverage.
Slots are the scheduled containers you need to cover. Often one slot is one day, but slots can also be shifts, locations, stages, rooms, route stops, or any other unit where people and jobs come together.
Jobs are the actual work inside a slot. Add a new job inline when the need is specific, or pull from existing work when the same job repeats across slots.
Fill jobs directly from search, stage people on the slot first, or drag someone into a visible assignment once the target is in view and confirm the assignment details. Weeks keeps the planning surface flexible because real staffing rarely happens in one order.
