Guide
Use the All jobs workspace
Review work across a space, focus the plans and staffing windows that matter, and save the result as a reusable view.
Open the combined workspace
Open a space and choose All jobs. This is the space-wide workspace for reviewing slots, jobs, and people across plans instead of opening each plan separately.
The default view starts in List mode. It includes active plans and untimed slots, excludes archived plans, and hides past assignments. With no date selected, every non-past timed slot remains visible.
Use filters to answer a specific staffing question, such as which jobs need people next week, how one plan overlaps another, or who is available in a configured planning context. Weeks keeps the current filter and layout choices in the page URL while you work.
Choose primary and reference plans
Each plan control cycles through three useful states:
- Active — the checked plan is primary work in the result.
- Reference — the plan stays visible but is dimmed and marked Reference, so it can provide context without looking like primary work.
- Unselected — the plan has no explicit filter state.
When every plan is unselected, Weeks shows the active plans by default. As soon as at least one plan is set to Active or Reference, unselected plans are hidden from the result. A third click on a reference plan returns it to unselected, so it stays hidden while another plan filter is active; if all plans return to unselected, the normal active-plan overview returns.
Use All plans to apply the same cycle to every listed plan. Exclude archived is on by default. Turn it off only when archived plans should be available in this view.
Narrow the staffing window
The date controls under Time come from slot timelines:
- Leave every date unchecked to include all non-past timed slots.
- Select one or more dates to keep only those staffing windows.
- No date is selected by default; clear it to exclude untimed slots.
- Past dates is off by default; select it to include assignments the overview marks as past. This is a time filter, not a completion-status filter.
Plan and time filters combine, so you can focus one set of plans and then narrow it to the dates that matter.
Switch between List and Timeline
Use List for a grouped operational overview. Slots are grouped by date and ordered by time, plan name, and slot name, with job cards and staffing status together.
Use Timeline for timed work positioned by day and time. It adds peak-time information and people rows. In Timeline mode you can:
- search for people by name;
- filter people by configured planning-context values or by positive, neutral, and negative planning effects;
- select People without jobs to show person rows that have no jobs in the current Timeline; and
- sort people by assigned hours or number of jobs.
Switching modes preserves the other filter choices in the URL. Planning-context controls appear only when the space has usable planning contexts; an unconfigured space does not show empty context filters.
Read the filtered staffing summary
The coverage percentage and the filled, required, and open counts recalculate from the assignments left by the plan and time filters. Reference-plan assignments remain part of those totals. People search and planning-context filters narrow the Timeline’s people rows, not the coverage summary. Slot-group counts and empty states update with the plan and time filters too.
Read the summary as an answer about the current view, not the whole space. Clear or change the filters before using it to make a space-wide staffing decision.
Save and manage a view
A saved view is a durable, named version of the current All jobs configuration. It stores the plan states, time filters, List or Timeline mode, people search and planning-context filters, Timeline options, and sort state. Only a team administrator can create or manage saved views.
- Set up the All jobs workspace you want to reuse.
- Enter a name under Filters and choose Save as view.
- Open the saved view from the space navigation when you need it again.
A saved view opens with its stored configuration. URL parameters can temporarily override that configuration without changing the saved copy.
To change the durable view, choose View settings beside the active view. Adjust its name or filters, then choose Save view. The same settings page can create an independent copy with Duplicate view or remove the view with Delete view. Deleting a view returns you to the unsaved All jobs workspace; it does not delete the underlying plans or assignments.
